Aircon Servicing in Tampines

We received a call asking whether we are doing part time or not. We were confused for a moment and asked the lady what does she meant by that. She clarified that her last experience with another contractor a year ago was doing aircon servicing as a part-time job. They did not do a good job of cleaning the air-con. In the end, she had to vacuum it herself.

At this point, we were impressed with the lady’s doing. Soon she voiced out her problem. The air conditioning was not cold anymore. Vacuuming the fan coil did not help anymore. Heat got turn up here in Singapore at mid-August. Sometime we could not sleep without switching on the air conditioner. We used to sweat under the fan. The fan just blown warm air. It was totally unbearable condition.

So we explained to her on the ‘ac not cold’ issue, was that those inner part of a fan coil cannot be easily reachable by vacuuming. Many dirt and debris will get build up through time. Not to mentioned that her LG air conditioners were already 5 years-old. Although you seldom use it, dirt is in the air. They will settled down somewhere each day. Dirt gets piled up in months or even days if you live near a construction site, or an industrial area. They are too small to be seen by our naked eyes.

We recommended that she should try our aircon chemical wash. The process can flush out a lot of dirt. You will be surprised if you were to see it yourself. It will also leave a nice clean smell and air conditioning will be cold again.

What if the air-con is not cold after aircon chemical cleaning? Then our next step is to check the aircon refrigerant pressure, commonly known as the air con gas pressure. If it is out of range, we will have to do an air con gas top up service.

Caution: Too much air con gas top up will cause the aircon refrigerant to be sluggish in the flow. Thus aircon not cold.

After the aircon chemical wash service, the lady enjoyed the cool air coming out from her cleaned air conditioner.
